Starting To Get Those Winter Time Blues?
It's getting close to the end of golf season for many parts of the United States and with this change is the Winter Time Withdrawals!
A lot of players have finally gotten their games to a point where they are happy with the results and now they put up their clubs for the winter and don't get them out until spring.
Spring rolls around, out come the clubs, and now the player has the whole season to get their game "back in shape" yet once again. This is a NEVER ending cycle for a lot of golfers.
We work so hard to play good golf only to get to that point and then stop because of weather. The good news -
YOU DON'T HAVE TO START OVER AGAIN!
This winter do something different and KEEP your game in shape. All you need are a few "toys", a few "drills" and you'll start next season way ahead of schedule.
Here's what you need:
1. Flashlights or lasers 2. A Mirror 3. Stretch Bands 4. Dowels 5. Racquets
With these common items and the drills we have over at the Forum your game won't suffer the Wintertime Blues.
Pre-Shot…Here's what some of the guys do.
Everyone has a "Pre-Shot" and here's a chance to see and hear what some of the guys on Tour do.

Golf Training Aids - Good or Bad?
There are thousands of Golf Training Aids in the marketplace today. We receive dozens each year for evaluation and to be truthful - most are junk!
In reality there are MAYBE a dozen or so that ACTUALLY work and do WHAT the inventors ( manufacturers) say the do.
Some of our criteria in these valuations follow:
1. Does it do what it is "hyped" to do? 2. Does it require a degree in "rocket science" to figure out how it works? 3. Does it provide valuable feedback to the player?
The first we do when doing an evaluation is to put it on video tape to see how it effects the players motion or problem. If it passes this first test then we move on to having players of different skill levels and handicaps use it while filming them.
We then get feedback from the players testing the device about how it feels, looks, ease of use, and most importantly did it change something in the golf swing.
The final phase the product must pass through is how does it effect the flat left wrist, the clubhead lag feel, or the straight plane line. We call these the Three Imperatives and ALL training aids must positively effect one of these. If it doesn't we don't recommend it.
Got a training aid that you'd like us to evaluate? Just drop us a note and we'll arrange to set up the testing. |

Cool Threads
Walk or Ride?
There is an interesting debate going on over at the Forum about to either walk or ride when playing golf. In the United States riding is almost always an option but in most other parts of the world it isn’t. Golfers in Europe especially don’t have the option to ride during a round of golf so for them walking is the norm.
Over here though riding is the norm – with the course operators using the mindset of riding is faster therefore we can get more rounds in. Of course those days when the fairways are closed to cart traffic really slow everything down – instead of speeding it up!

As many of you already know we have been doing these workshops/schools for many years and EVERY one of them has been sold out within a few hours of the announcement. I have personally conducted over 1000 of these workshops/schools around the country - I don't go out of the US and had the honor of being the Director of Instruction for The Golfing Machine! There's only been one other to hold this honor.
We have had players from around the world come to these events as well as many of Golf's Top Instructors and Tour Players.
These "camps" are for players of ALL ability levels so don't feel like you're "not good enough" to attend - that's exactly WHY you SHOULD come - to get better!
Confused about "Right Forearm Angle of Approach" - NOT anymore! When you leave this school you WILL know!
To make your reservation email, PM, either Randy or myself. You DON"T want to miss this event - especially at this price! You all know that a one on one full day with me is $1000.00 so this REALLY is a bargain.
We are working on special accomodation rates so we'll keep you posted on that too.
UPDATE - we will have some special rates for you from the Hampton Inn just 10 minutes from our facility by Monday evening, 11-14-2005. Hampton Inn is a Hilton Hotels brand that features a full hot breakfast, wireless high-speed internet access, and right next door is the New York Deli - a sports bar and eating establishment. These rooms are usually $109.00 per night but for our attendees the rate is $79.00 plus tax - per night!
